The Mid-Season Championships combined with perfect weather attracted a large crowd to the Kinross Speedpark on Friday night.

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI -- After a slow start, the Soo Cambrian Mazda Midget Black Sox began to find a groove early on Friday morning which led to a 2-0 record in the Paul C. Andary Memorial Tournament being held in Sault, Michigan this weekend.

Jerry Artuso was at his best on Thursday night and made a little history at Laird International Raceway. The local racing veteran put in double duty as he raced in both the Modified and Late Model Divisions and in doing so, won both features.

The Bud Light Slo-Pitch Tournament is scheduled for July 22 and 23 at Strathclair Park. Registration deadline is July 14. The entry fee is $275 for Slo-Pitch Ontario registered teams. Entries in both the men's and coed divisions are available.

Runway Park hosts two days of motocross racing Saturday July 8th and Sunday July 9th. Each day is a seperate race day with a full race schedule. Racers can race either day or both days.
