ONLY ONE CRASH YESTERDAY (Batchawana Bay, Ont.) Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated one collision on Hwy 17 in the Batchawana Bay area. At about 8:00 a.m. yesterday a northbound car lost control and went into the ditch.

HWY CLOSURE MAY BE ANOTHER 24 HOURS (Batchawana Bay, Ont.) Sault Ste Marie OPP are now advising that Hwy 17 between Batchawana Bay and Wawa may be closed for at least another 24 hours.

ECHO BAY CRASH (Echo Bay, Ont.) No one was injured yesterday after a car slid into a large passenger van in the village of Echo Bay. Yesterday at about 3:30 p.m. a van was traveling southbound on Church Street.
