Sault Ste Marie, Ont. - Officers with the Sault Ste. Marie Detachment responded to seven collisions and vehicles in the ditch from mid-morning yesterday, when the freezing rain hit this area, until about 9 p.m. last night.

A forty five year old Goulais River man appears in court today after a lengthy investigation by Sault Ste Marie OPP.Earlier in November OPP began an investigation into bad cheques issued in the Goulais River and Havilland Shores Drive area.

A local woman suffered minor injuries Friday morning after her van rolled at the intersection of Highway 552 West and Mission Road, Ontario Provincial Police report this morning. "There was a fire truck, a rescue truck and two police cars," SooToday.

Sault Ste Marie OPP and the staff of Pancake Bay Provincial Park would like your help getting their roadside sign back. Sometime over the weekend thieves stole the plexi glass sign at the entrance to the park. The sign was encased in a steel frame.

Batchawana First Nation - OPP were called to the lower Frontenac Street on the Batchawana First Nation over the weekend after kids were seen throwing objects at passing vehicles on Trunk Road.

Traffic check finds parole violator with stolen vehicle Batchawana, Ont. - A routine check of a vehicle early this morning by a Sault Ste Marie OPP officer found the sole occupant to be wanted and driving a stolen vehicle.
