On July 19, 2016 city police arrested a male age 34 for production of a substance (methamphetamine).

25-year-old Gordon Hassard of Wellington Street East was arrested for breaching a condition of an undertaking which he was released on earlier this week.

On July 16, 2016, City Police responded to a call in the area of Hughes Street. Investigation revealed that a lone male allegedly was entering a bedroom window and was confronted by the occupant of the residence.

On July 14, 2016 at 9 p.m. witnesses observed a male in an LCBO store who allegedly appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. This same male was observed leaving the store and operating a vehicle out of the parking lot. Police were contacted and

Accused on probation at time of his alleged offences

On July 13, 2016 at 8:10 p.m. city police arrested 36-year-old Jolene Eden Lunius of Church street. The accused was observed by officers on Wellington Street East and she was wanted on several outstanding arrest warrants.

At about 8:30 p.m. on July 12, 2016 city police arrested 24-year-old Thomas Agawa of Trelawne Avenue on outstanding warrants.

On July 9, 2016 at 4:25 p.m., City Police arrested and charged Marko Vuorela, 22 years, of Sudbury, ON with theft under $5000. It is alleged that the accused attended at Walmart on Great Northern Road and left the store with four packages of allergy

Shortly after midnight on July 7, a homeowner on Fish Hatchery Road advised police that thieves had enter their home and stole a quantity of cash and several house hold items.

On February 15, 2016, city police officers with the Emergency and Patrol Services arrested a male for armed robbery, assault and several firearm related charges.
