Alleged assault on child On August 21st shortly after 7:00 am a 33 year old male turned himself into Police at the Sault Ste. Marie Police Services Building.

Afternoon news An ACER laptop computer, an I-Phone alarm clock and a CCM mountain bike were reported stolen from a residence on St. Georges Ave West.

Aug 19 morning news A 21 year old male turned himself in to the City Police early this morning on domestic related charges from August 12th.

Afternoon news A vehicle was damaged overnight in the 600 block of MacDonald Avenue. The culprit smashed the rear tail light out on the vehicle.

Evening news: 36 year old Cynthia Assiginack was arrested on outstanding warrants this afternoon. It is alleged she failed to re-attend court in January of this year to answer to outstanding charges relating to breaching conditions.

Evening news: 24 year old Darren Dawson of Fish Hatchery Rd. was arrested early this morning for Impaired Driving. Mr. Dawson contacted Police after the motor vehicle he was operating came into contact with a Hydro Pole in the east end.

August 14 Evening News A resident in the 400 block of Queen Street West reported that medication was stolen from her apartment. 42 year old Lylie-Jo Liscumb of 39 St. Basils Drive was arrested for breach of a release document.

Evening news: A garage in the 600 block of Boundary Rd. was broken into sometime overnight and a 21 speed lime green supercycle was stolen.

Evening new release A 41 year old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Breach of a Undertaking and Breach of Probation. T he charges stem from a domestic incident where the accused was on undertaking not to communicate with the victim.

On August 10, 2013 in the late afternoon Police Officers were called to a residence in the 300 block of Fifth Ave. for a disturbance. Officers spoke to Annette Betty-Lynn Denis, age 39 of 338 Fifth Ave. Apt 2 Sault Ste. Marie.
