City Police Beat

City Police arrested 18 year old Brandon Stewart on the 6th of August for theft. It is alleged that he stole a bike from a garage in the east end of the city and was located with the bike by the owner at a school yard also in the east end.

On the the 5th of August 2012 at approximately 11:00 p.m. police attended Jemmette Street for reports of a suspicious male.

Arrests/Charged Persons: 22 year old Candace Louise Miron was arrested by City Police early this morning on an outstanding warrant for breaching a condition of her Recognizance which required her to attend at specific times to the John Howard Society

On the 4 August 2012 in the early morning hours police checked a male and found outstanding warrants for his arrest.

Evening Report: Theft of garden lights was reported from an address on Carufel Ave. ****** At 12:35 hours officers responded to a call for assistance to the Sault Ste.

Evening Report: 26 year old Carrie Anne Smith of 646 Queen St. West was arrested this morning charged with failing to abide by the conditions of recognizance of bail.

ARREST: A female accused, age 20 was arrested on an outstanding warrant – for failing to attend court. The arrest warrant dates back to when the accused was on probation as a young person.

Evening Report 24 year old Anthony RAMKAY of Desbarats Ontario has been charged with trafficking a controlled substance and has had his vehicle seized by police.

Evening Report Arrest: Arrest warrant executed regarding domestic matters – The accused age 36 was arrested on an outstanding warrant for Breach of Probation X 4.

************************* A 17-year old female was arrested on a warrant for fail to appear in court. She was released with a new court date of August 28.
