THREE STOLEN VEHICLES RECOVERED Officers of the Sault Ste Marie Police Service recovered three stolen vehicles on the weekend. Six arrests were made in regards to the possession of these stolen vehicles.

City police had a fairly routine night last night with only one major occurrence. 21-year-old Dennis Charbonneau of 158 Brien Avenue was charged with unlawfully being in a dwelling. The female occupant called police when Charbonneau wouldn't leave.

City police were kept busy last night. Most of the calls were of a minor nature. Six young offenders were arrested for stealing three motor vehicles. One was stolen a couple of days ago and two last night.

BAWATING STUDENT CHARGED WITH ATTEMPTED MURDER The Sault Ste Marie Police Service has arrested an 18-year-old male and charged him with attempted murder and possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public peace.

SCHOOL BUS ACCIDENT Yesterday at 8:35 am, the Sault Ste Marie Police Service investigated a motor vehicle collision between a car and a school bus. The accident took place on Northern Avenue just west of Great Northern Road.

MAN REFUSED TO LEAVE RESIDENCE Yesterday at about 10:00 am, patrol officers were called to a home on Pim St, where an adult female had asked William Vincent to leave her residence but he refused.

LATE FOR COURT Yesterday, Troy Chikoski, age 20 of 353 Second Avenue went to the Police Services Building to turn himself in. The accused produced a summons to attend court dated January 13 at 09:00 am.

MISSING TEENAGER LOCATED A 19-year-old female who was reported missing has been found by the Sault Police Service. Patricia Cormier was located downtown at about 2:00p.m. today in good health. She was returned home.

It was a routine night last night for your Sault Police Service. A total of 8 accidents were investigated. There were minor injuries in one. Two arrests were made for outstanding warrants as well.

FATAL ACCIDENT Your City Police Service is investigating a fatal accident that occurred in an underground parking garage at 138 Kohler yesterday at about 4:00 p.m.
