MAN CHARGED WITH ARSON Yesterday afternoon at 2:40, police arrested a 57-year-old male for being intoxicated in a public place. The male was locked up in a cell at the police station.

TRAFFIC OFFICERS KEPT BUSY ON WEEKEND On Saturday morning at 12:30, city police were called to a single vehicle accident at the corner of Douglas and Goulais Avenue. A vehicle had lost control and struck a fire hydrant.

YOUNG OFFENDERS ARRESTED FOR INTERNET THREATS On November 24th, City Police Services was notified of e-mail threats directed toward the safety of students at a local elementary school.

ARMED ROBBERY LAST NIGHT City police were called to the Caswell Motor Inn on Trunk Road this morning at 1:45 regarding a robbery. The clerk had left the counter area temporarily and upon returning found two males dipping into the till.

12-YEAR-OLD ARRESTED FOR ASSAULT Officers arrested a 12-year-old last evening in connection with an incident in his home. He and his 16-year-old sister had been arguing prior to the alleged assault.

The Sault Police Services responded to 24 motor vehicle collisions yesterday. Most involved drivers losing control of their vehicles due to the arrival of winter conditions. Fortunately there were no serious injuries.

TWO ARRESTED FOR AUGUST THEFT Detectives arrested 22-year-old Brendan Gosse of 524 Goulais Avenue and a 16-year-old female last evening in connection with an incident from August of this year.
