The disappointment was evident as the Soo Greyhounds players slowly trickled from their dressing room following their Wednesday night matchup with the London Knights.

The education center pond behind Canadore College and Nipissing university in North Bay will be transformed into a multi outdoor rink facility for North Bay’s first ever pond hockey tournament.

The Soo North Stars picked up two more road victories over the weekend in Great North Midget League play. On Friday, the North Stars scored an 8-2 win over the Valley East Cobras before doubling the Rayside Balfour Sabrecats 6-3 on Saturday.

The Soo Thunder moved a step closer to their goal of finishing in top spot in the Northern Ontario Bantam AAA Hockey League this weekend.
