BIANCHI, Antonio Vincent (Tony)

After a stoic, courageous struggle to overcome cancer, Tony completed his arduous journey on Thursday, June 16th, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at the Plummer Memorial Hospital. He was predeceased by his wonderful parents, Mary and Erminio Bianchi.

MAKI, Barbara (R.N.)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara, peacefully, on Friday, April 1, 2005 in Sarasota, Florida, with her family by her side, in her 51st year, after a courageous battle with cancer.

GOULET, Leopold Joseph Adolphe “Leo”

Peacefully at the General Hospital on Friday, June 10, 2005 at the age of 76. Devoted husband of the late Rita for 42 years. Step-father to Mary Jane Simonds, Joanne Nimigon, and Roger Toupin.

CRACK, Bernard (Bernie)

Passed away peacefully in London, Ontario on June 13, 2005 in his 64th year. Son of the late Joseph Crack and the late Dorothy Crack. Survived by children Paul (Shirley), Bill (Mandy), Lori-ann and Richard. Predeceased by son Bernie.

ERVIN, Betty Lou

Peacefully at the General Hospital with her family by her side on Thursday, June 16, 2005 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Maitland and the late Jack Ervin.

At the Sault Area Hospital on Friday, June 10, 2005 Mr. Gerry Carrier at the age of 74 years. Husband of Marie Archambeault and father of Alain Carrier (Sharon), Julie Vajdic (Gary), Denis Archambeault (Catherine), Louise Carrier and Gilles Carrier.

SYRETTE, Joseph Maurice

Surrounded by family and friends, after a lengthy illness. Joe passed away at the Sault Area Hospital on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 in his 46th year. Dearest husband of Loah.

BUSWA, Celina Mary Corrine (nee Labranche), "Wahquence"

Peacefully on Friday June 10, 2005 at home in Birch Island at the age of 64. Beloved wife of Rene Henry Buswa (Sagamok). Daughter of Emma Labranche (predeceased) of Mississauga First Nation and Alfred Boyer (predeceased) of Garden River.

PRESTON, Cecil Sr.

Passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2005 in his 78th year. He is survived by his brothers Earl (Alisa) and Charlie and sister Betty (Rudy) and their families. Father of Cecil Jr., Lorie, Gary, Kim, Terry, Bradley and the late Alan.

NYKIFORUK, Mary (nee Tarchuk)

A celebration of the life of Mary Nykiforuk, age 88. On January 4, 2005, after a valiant struggle with a lengthy illness, Mary passed away in Toronto Western Hospital with family by her side.
