ASSAULT COMPLAINT RESULTS IN CHARGES (WAWA, ON) On November 10th, 2011 Superior East OPP Wawa detachment were called to a residence on McKinley Ave in Wawa at 10:28 pm for an assault.

THREE MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISIONS REPORTED (SAULT STE. MARIE, ON) - Sault Ste. Marie OPP report three motor vehicle collisions over the weekend. Two involving animals and one weather related. No injuries were reported.

LOST HUNTER FOUND BY OPP AFTER SPENDING NIGHT IN BUSH (Blind River, ON.) – On November 10, 2011 at 8:30 p.m. East Algoma-Blind River OPP detachment received a call of a missing hunter near 68 Bay of Lake Matinenda north of Blind River.

WINTER DRIVING (WAWA, ON) Winter driving conditions are upon us and the Superior East OPP detachments would like the motoring public to avoid the risky behaviour of aggressive driving.

Impaired driving charge (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On November 8, 2011 the East Algoma OPP received information regarding a possible impaired driver. While on general patrol, at approximately 10:41 p.m.

TOOLS, CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL STOLEN (Thessalon, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP is currently investigating a break and enter on Diamond Lake Road in Johnson Township.

THEFT OF ATV TRAILER (DUBREUILVILLE, ON) On Wednesday November 3rd, 2011 Superior East OPP Wawa Detachment was advised that a theft of an ATV trailer had occurred just off of Highway 519 near Dubreuilville.

THEFT OF TRAILER WHITE RIVER - On Tuesday, November 2, 2011 Superior East OPP White River Detachment was advised of a theft of a flat deck trailer had occurred 14km south of White River in Vasiloff Township.

(KAPUSKASING, ON.) – On Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at approximately 11:45 a.m. the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) James Bay Detachments received a report of a helicopter crash from the Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC).

ASSAULT AT LOCAL LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENT (WAWA, ON.)* -- Early on October 30^th , 2011 the Superior East Ontario Provincial Police Wawa Detachment were called to a local liquor establishment in regards to an assault that had occurred to an employee.
