FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION (Little Current, On) – On Sunday July 25th at approximately 10:00 AM, the Manitoulin Island OPP Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police investigated a single motor vehicle collision on Hwy 540 at McLean’s Mountain Rd

(Elliot Lake, Ontario) The East Algoma OPP has arrested and charged a second male regarding the homemade explosive devices at the local beaches. Charged with the following is a 17-year-old male of Elliot Lake.

MOTORCYCLE OPERATOR STUNT DRIVING (WAWA, ON.) – On July 22, 2010 at 7:10 pm Superior East OPP in Wawa were patrolling southbound on Highway 17 in Menzies Twp approximately 35 kilometres north of Wawa.

Single Motor Vehicle collision closes Highway 129 North of Thessalon On the 22nd of July 2010, shortly before 3:00 am, officers from the Thessalon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 12

POLICE WARN RESIDENTS NOT TO TOUCH SUSPICIOUS BOTTLES (Elliot Lake, ON.) – Elliot Lake OPP has been responding to calls involving homemade explosive devices on area beaches.

Moose/Van Collision results in Injuries (WHITE RIVER. On.) – On July 20, 2010 at approximately 1:20 am Superior East OPP in White River were dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision on Highway 17, 15 kilometres south of White River.

IMPAIRED DRIVER (WAWA, On.) – On July 18, 2010 at 4:47 pm Ministry of Natural Resources staff in Lake Superior Provincial Park reported that two males in a red minivan were northbound on Highway 17 near Rabbit Blanket campground.

MALE ARRESTED FOR VIOLATING CURFEW (Blind River, ON.) – On July 14, 2010 at 3:40 a.m. officers from the East Algoma OPP detachment were called to a business on Causley St in Blind River for a male who was bothering patrons.

SINGLE VEHICLE ROLLOVER MALE DRIVER INJURED (Garden River First, ON ) – Sault Ste.

STOLEN VEHICLE RECOVERED (MacDonald Twp., ON) – A 2002 Hyundai Elantra stolen from the City of Sault Ste. Marie on 30 March 2010 was recovered by OPP yesterday.
