MINOR INJURIES IN LATE EVENING COLLISION Garden River First Nation, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP investigated one collision last night that saw one person receive minor injuries and a utility pole snapped in half. At about 11:00 p.m.

SURPRISE ON THE ROAD Heyden, Ont., At about noon yesterday, OPP were called to Hwy 556 and Brooks Road after a large log was found laying in the middle of the roadway.

On Saturday, a female proceeded to wreak havoc at a Blind River Hotel on employees and police who responded to the trespassing call. As police arrived at the Northern Lights Tavern, they recognized 23-year-old Sheila Boyer of Sault Ste.

HIGHWAY 17 NORTH REOPENED Wawa, Ont. The Wawa detachment of the O.P.P. advises that Highway 17 was closed from Wawa north to Highway #519 due to weather and dangerous driving conditions at noon today and was reopened at 4:30 p.m..

CLOSE CALL Montreal River, Ont., Sault Ste Marie OPP are looking for a tractor trailer that failed to report a collision near Montreal River yesterday. At about 10:00 a.m., a jeep was following a tractor trailer southbound on Hwy 17.
