DRIVER FALLS ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL Early Saturday morning at 5:30, the driver of a northbound SUV pulling a boat and trailer fell asleep at the wheel and ran off the road. The trailer became entangled in the guide rail and flipped over.

The Sault O.P.P. is currently investigating break-ins to several vehicles in the Heyden area yesterday. If you have any information, you are asked to call the O.P.P. at 945-6833 or call Crime Stoppers. The investigation is on-going.

The Sault O.P.P. had a quiet twenty-four hours with only one minor accident to investigate. Two vehicles collided at the pit Stop Gas Bar in Echo Bay. There were no injuries and only minor damage. No charges were laid.
