On March 19 City Police patrol officers had occasion to conduct a vehicle stop in the area of Great Northern Rd. north of Lukenda Dr.

On March 18 City Police arrested 35-year-old Kenneth Megginson of Goulais River on outstanding warrants. It is alleged he failed to attend court on theft and trespassing charges from September 2015.

On March 17 City Police officers arrested 27-year-old Jerrilee Leveille of Grace St. on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear court in February to answer to theft, possession of stolen property, a drug offence and further failing to appear

24-year-old woman faces charges after allegedly causing a disturbance at Sault Area Hospital

After an incident on March 10, Shawn Simpson was charged with possession of stolen property, using a stolen credit card and breach of bail recognizance

The victim is a Sault College employee

On November 2, 2015, city police located stolen property from a break and enter by way of checking spawn slips from a local pawn shop.

On March 13, 2016 city police arrested a male age 18 for theft under $5,000 and breach of probation. It is alleged that the accused Matthew Scott Daynard stole over $250 worth of chocolate bars and energy drinks.

Unconfirmed reports indicate the victim of an early morning hit-and-run on Saturday is a Sault College student.
