A 54-year-old male was arrested as a result of a domestic violence investigation. It is alleged that on the 1st of March the accused assaulted his wife by striking her in the head.

On the March 1 officers attended at the Top Hat Bar for a person to be removed. Investigation revealed that the accused had previously been removed by the staff.

Evening news: On February 28 police stopped a vehicle on Queen Street East. A check of the males in the car revealed that there was a warrant for a 17-year-old passenger for breach of probation.

Evening news: A 31-year-old female attended at the station and turned herself in on an outstanding charge of Fail to Appear Court. The original charge stemmed from a domestic incident. She was given a new court date of March 31 2014 .

Evening news: 21-year-old Kimberly Robinson of the 300-block of Old Goulais Bay Road was picked up by City Police today regarding an outstanding warrant from Probation and Parole.

25 year old Tina Waboose of Bawahting Miikun St. was arrested early this morning by City Police officers and charged with assault, mischief, Taxi fraud, theft and trespass by night.

On the 21st of February 2014, police attended the 100 block of Willow Avenue for a report of a break and enter that occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Items stolen included a Playstation 3, jewelry, and 10 pairs of Lululemon leggings.

The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service and the Collision Reporting Centre have received a higher number of motor vehicle collision incidents today. Approximately 26 collisons have been reported by 3:30 p.m. today.

At approximately 5:15 a.m. this morning, city police received a 911 call regarding a robbery that had just occurred at the Metro Store in the Market Mall. A lone male attended in the store and stole the cash register drawer from the female clerk.
