Police Week Reminder Just a reminder to the public about Police Week. From May 18th to 20th 48 agencies will be set up in the Station Mall and the public is invited to attend.

Canada Road Safety Week The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service will be participating in Canada Road Safety Week, which runs from May 17th to May 23rd. During this safety campaign the City Police will team up with the R.I.D.E.

Drug Arrest Two young people, a male and a female, will make video court appearances this morning after they were found at a west-end address with cannabis resin.

4 Counts of Assault A 41-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after City Police received a complaint from the wife of the accused.

Break and Enters Yesterday City Police took 2 break and enter reports to travel trailers. Thieves attempted to break into one trailer in the 900 block of Wallace Terrace but did not gain entry.

Motor Vehicle Collision The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is currently at the scene of at single motor vehicle collision that has sent 2 persons to the Sault Area Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Breach of Release Document Yesterday afternoon just after 1 pm City Police apprehended 2 16-year old youths who were breaking into vehicles in the parking lot of Roberta Bondar Place at 70 Foster Drive.

Male Charged with Assault A 56-year old male will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested on May 7th around 12 noon.

Drug Bust Last night at approx. 10:35 PM City Police were called to a residence in the 300 block of Korah Rd. regarding a large group of people throwing furniture onto the roadway.

Male Charged with Mischief At approx. 4:20 AM on Wednesday may 4th City Police were called to an address in the 100 block of Allard St. in regards to a mischief complaint.
