SAULT MAN CHARGED WITH INTERNET LURING Members of the Sault Police Service in conjunction with the O.P.P. Child Pornography Section have charged at 55-year-old Sault man following an undercover Internet Luring investigation.

ARRESTED AT SCHOOL Yesterday at 10:45 am, the accused, Terry Gauthier, age 37 of 75 James Street, was causing a disturbance by yelling and swearing in the hallways of Holy Angels School.

TWO MEN ARRESTED FOR FIGHTING Yesterday at 2:40 pm on Gore Street, Scott Kenny, age 28 of 15 Abbott Street and co-accused Donald Legault, age 38 of 212 Hudson Street were found to be fighting.

FATHER HAS SON CHARGED Yesterday, the complainant, a 37-year-old father, noted that money from his cash float was missing from his bedroom. The father confronted his 14-year-old son, and the money was returned, the amount of $20.

TOO YOUNG TO CHARGE Yesterday at approximately 2:10 am the accused, a 10-year-old male and a 14-year-old female did commit the offence of theft by entering numerous motor vehicles in the parking lot to the rear of 803 Queen Street East.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE City police had a fairly quiet night. A 27-year-old male was charged with assault as the result of a domestic dispute. During an argument with his wife he punched her and banged her head on the fridge.

The City Police and the O.P.P. provide an excellent information service for the press from Monday to Friday but, understandably, do not have information officers in on the weekends and do not issue press releases.

COMPUTER PROBLEMS AT POLICE STATION City police would like to apologize for the lack of information about the overnight incidents due to computer problems. The problem has now been corrected but the reports are backlogged.

MISSING PERSON LOCATED The Sault Ste Marie Police Service investigators have confirmed that Michael Doucette has been positively identified by witnesses as being in the Parry Sound area after he was last seen in the Sault.
