SEVEN MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISIONS REPORTED ON AREA HIGHWAYS (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) – Sault Ste. Marie OPP report seven motor vehicle collisions over the weekend on area highways. Two collisions were reported on Highway 17 east of Sault Ste.

INDUSTRIAL ACCIDENT BEING INVESTIGATED (Fisher Twp., ON) – Sault Ste. Marie OPP and the Ministry of Labour are investigating an industrial accident that occurred on Carp Road in Fisher Township at approximately 4:00 pm on January 9, 2013.

BODY RECOVERED (Macdonald-Meredith-Aberdeen Additional, ON) – The body of thirty-four year old Frank Keith GUERRIERO of Chartwell Avenue, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario has been recovered from the waters of Lake George.

BODY RECOVERED Missing Snowmobiler – Lake George (Macdonald-Meredith-Aberdeen Additional, ON) – OPP advise that the body of a second snowmobiler has been recovered from the waters of Lake George.

MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION (Garden River First Nation, ON) - Sault Ste. Marie OPP was dispatched to a single motor vehicle collision yesterday evening at 8:30 pm. on Highway 17B.

IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED (Garden River First Nation, ON) – On December 15, 2012 at approximately 1:30 am OPP on patrol eastbound on Highway 17 observed a vehicle weaving on the roadway and driving below the speed limit.

MALE CHARGED WITH POINTING A FIREARM (Aweres Twp., ON) – At approximately 3:10 pm on December 13, 2012 Sault Ste. Marie OPP received a 911 call to attend Pruce’s Hotel parking lot regarding a male pointing a firearm.
