DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE…. PLAN AHEAD! (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On Thursday, May 3, 2012 at approximately 2:30 a.m. an officer of the East Algoma OPP was on general patrol and conducted a traffic stop on Hillside Drive North.

DAMAGE TO LAIRD FAIRGROUNDS (Laird Twp., ON) – OPP are investigating damage on the Laird Fairgrounds. Sometime between Monday evening and Wednesday morning, the gate was removed and the property entered.

STUDDED TIRES MUST COME OFF (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – The East Algoma OPP will be on the lookout for vehicle still driving around with studded tires.

DRIVER ARRESTED FOR IMPAIRED DRIVING (MacDonald, Meredith, et. al., ON) - Friday April 27, 2012 at approximately 1:55 pm a truck travelling on Hurley St. in Echo Bay was pulled over by OPP in a routine traffic stop.

ASSAULT CAUSE BODILY HARM (WAWA, ON) – On April 20 th , 2012 the Ontario Provincial Police Superior East Wawa Detachment responded to an assault complaint during the early hours.

THEFT OF BOAT MOTOR (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – On April 22, 2012 police received a complaint of a stolen boat motor. The victim reported to police that he has a parked trailer on crown land close to Summers Lake.

LOCAL MALE CHARGED WHEN LOCATED ON SCHOOL PROPERTY (Elliot Lake, Ontario) – A local male has been charged after police received a trespass to property complaint.

DRIVING COMPLAINT LEADS TO ARREST (Garden River First Nation, ON) – OPP received a driving complaint around 8:30 pm yesterday evening of a white Honda vehicle travelling eastbound all over the roadway and going through a stop light on Highway 1

OPP SEEK INFORMATION ON BREAK AND ENTER (CHAPLEAU, ON) – On March 2 nd , 2012 the Ontario Provincial Police Superior East Chapleau Detachment were advised of break and enters that had occurred at Borden Lake Campground on Highway 101.

DRIVER CHARGED AFTER FAILING TO STOP FOR POLICE (Blind River, ON) –On Saturday April 14, 2012 at 1:30 am the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) East Algoma stopped a vehicle for a Highway Traffic Act infraction on Causley St., Blind River, ON.
