Sault Ste. Marie OPP are investigating the theft of a wood stove from a seasonal home on Nils Bay Road in Goulais River. The owner of the home arrived to find one of the doors forced open and the interior of the home damaged.

STOLEN SNOW BOARD LEADS TO ARREST Goulais River, Ont., Two stolen snow boards last night from a Goulais River ski hill has lead to the arrest of one Young Offender and the recovery of the one of the two snow boards. Last night at about 9:00 p.m.

Sault Ste. Marie OPP are investigating two separate snow machine thefts over the weekend. On Saturday night a snow machine was stolen from a residence on Highway 17 in the Heyden area.

On Feb. 7 at approximately 2:50 p.m. a member of the Ontario Provincial Police Sault Ste. Marie detachment stopped a vehicle on Highway 17, Laird Township.

On Feb. 6, 2002 a wheelchair was found in the Harmony Beach area north of Sault Ste. Marie. The wheelchair is believed to have fallen from a moving vehicle. For further information contact the Ontario Provincial Police detachment at 945-6833.
