Afternoon news On April 8th at 1:50 pm Patrol Officers arrested and charged a 25 year old male for domestic assault. The male had assaulted his girlfriend causing minor injuries. He will appear in bail court on April 9th.

Monday, April 7, 2014

Police were called to a Domestic disturbance at a residence in the downtown area. Investigation resulted in a 29-year-old male being charged with mischief under $5,000 and threatening death. He will be appearing in bail court on April 8.

Sunday, April 6, 2014

On the 6 April 2014 officers from Patrol Services arrested an adult male for Assault Causing Bodily Harm. This stemmed from a domestic incident. The female victim received non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Sault Area Hospital.

Afternoon news On the 5 April 2014 a male entered a local grocery store and was caught by security staff shoplifting. During the ensuing arrest for theft under $5,000.

On April 3, 2014 at 6:05 p.m., police officers arrested a 46-year-old male for failing to attend court on a previous domestic related charged. The male has been charged with Failing to Attend Court and will now attend court on April 4.

Shortly after 2 p.m. yesterday, an adult male was robbed in the area of Northern Avenue and Sackville Road. The victim was jumped by three males and his wallet was taken. One of the males was approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build.

Afternoon news On the 1st of April 2014 the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated a domestic assault complaint. Officers learned that a female had been assaulted by her male common-law husband.
