City Police Beat

Afternoon news On December 30, 2013 at approximately 2:55 a.m. City Police responded to an armed robbery call at Macs Convenience Store located at 2200 Queen Street East.

A break and enter was reported to City Police today at a residence in the 400 block of Second Line West. The complainant believes it occurred sometime between noon yesterday and 2:30 p.m today.

On December 28, 2013 in the early afternoon, Richard Bell, age 50 of no fixed address, attended at the Police Station to turn himself in. Bell was wanted for being unlawfully at large for a previously court ordered sentence.

Evening news: On December 27, 2013 at 3:35 a.m. Patrol Officers arrested William Daigle, age 44 of Albert St. East and Patrick Woodcox, age 36 of Fisher Park Rd.

At 8:30 am on the 26th of December 2013 police located a 34 year old male who was wanted in relation to a domestic assault that occurred in the early morning hours of December 25th, 2013.

18-year-old Christopher Orrico of 87 Wellington St. E. was checked by patrol officers last night in the downtown area.

On December 24, 2013 at approximately 7:15 a.m. , patrol officers were requested to attend an address in the central part of the city.

On December 23, 2013 at approximately 8:15am , patrol officers located and arrested 46 year old Lore-Lei Gabow of 235 Poplar Ave. Ms. Gabow had an outstanding warrant for her arrest for breaching conditions of her probation.

A break in was reported to a residence on Coulson Ave. from overnight. Entry was gained via an unlocked side door and a flat screen TV was stolen. A break in was reported by McKevitt Trucking on Trunk Rd.

53-year-old Lawrence Steinburg of Grace Street was charged by City Police officers today with one count of mischief. It is alleged he attended to a residence in the 200 block of Albert St. E.
