Snow To Continue Today The drifting and blowing snow is expected to continue today. The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service would again like to remind motorist to be careful.

Police Seek Witnesses The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service is looking for witnesses to a motor vehicle collision that occurred on Monday February 5th just after 2 pm at the intersection of Bay Street and East Street.

Assault, Assault with a Weapon and Theft under $5000 A 49-year old male was arrested just after midnight this morning and charged with one count of assault, one count of assault with a weapon and one count of theft under $5,000.

The following persons will appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 58-year old female was arrested on the 4th of February just before 2 am and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of probation.

Drug Charges Laid Last evening the Joint Forces Drug Unit, which consists of the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service, the O.P.P. Drug Enforcement Section, the O.P.P. North East Region and the R.C.M.P.

Break & Enter at the Beaver Gas Station Shortly before 1:30 am this morning officers from Patrol Services attended in the area of the Beaver Gas Bar on Korah Road after a citizen reported two suspicious persons in the area.

The following persons will appear in bail court this morning: 1) 36-year old Leonard Solomon of 65 Hiawatha Drive, Garden River was arrested yesterday morning shortly before noon hour and charged with one count of aggravated assault.

Stabbing in Downtown Residence Last evening shortly after 5 pm officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended at the Sault Area Hospital regarding a report of a stabbing.

The following persons will appear in bail court this morning: 1) A 22-year old male was arrested on the 26th of January and charged with one count of assault and one count of breach of probation.

Female Charged with Mischief & Assault At approx. 9:25 Pm last night City Police were called to an east end residence in regards to a disturbance.
