A Reminder to Motorist The Sault Ste Marie Police Service would like to remind motorists to adjust their driving habits to the road conditions today. Many of the side streets are very icy. The main streets are bare in some areas with icy patches.

Male Charged with Possession 29-year old James Ewart of 33-147 Lewis Road will appear in bail court this morning after officers from the Investigation Services Section followed up on information regarding Mr. Ewart possibly pawning stolen guitars.

Male Charged with Robbery 44-year old Robert Richardson of 124 Andrew Street will appear in bail court today after being arrested on the 7th of January in relation to a home invasion that took place before Christmas on McNabb Street.

Male Charged with Shoplifting 51-year old Denis Theriault of 11-874 Queen Street East was arrested yesterday afternoon for shoplifting. It is alleged that the accused entered the Sears Store in the Station Mall and left with an unpaid sweater.

Male Charged Around 4:30 pm City Police were called to the Sault Area Hospital in regards to a male causing a disturbance. It is alleged that 44-year old Gerard St. Jean of 35-864 Queen Street East caused a disturbance by yelling and swearing.
