FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT & ASSAULT Yesterday at 2:10 p.m., officers from the Sault Ste Marie Police Service were called to an address in the 400 block of Albert Street West and arrested a 51-year-old male for assault and forcible confinement.

BUSY NIGHT FOR POLICE City Police were kept busy once again responding to numerous complaints of thefts from vehicles and theft of bicycles from all areas of the city.

YOUTHS HAD TAPE OVER THEIR MOUTHS Yesterday evening at 8:30, a citizen reported seeing a car on Great Northern Road with two adults in the front seat and four youths in the backseat.

CAR ROLLS OVER On Saturday at 8:50 p.m., the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service investigated a motor vehicle collision on Trunk Road.

The City Police Service has had an exceptionally quiet twenty-four hour period and has nothing to report today. There was a fatal industrial accident just north of Bruce Mines yesterday.

The Sault Ste Marie Police Service responded to over 95 calls for assistance yesterday with most of the calls being of a minor nature. BREAK & ENTERS One break and enter was reported in the 900 block of North Street.

BUSY DAY FOR POLICE The Sault Ste Marie Police Service was kept fairly busy yesterday responding to 110 calls for assistance. Most of the calls were of a minor nature.

MISSING BOY FOUND The Sault Ste. Marie Police Service announced this afternoon that 14-year-old Thomas Jolley has been found in good physical condition. The Sault youngster had left home June 24th following an argument.

Your City Police Service is enjoying a very quiet holiday Tuesday today. Last night was steady with routine alcohol offences and a couple of Breaches of Undertakings. There were no accidents or injuries overnight.
