ASSAULT X2 AND MORE… (Blind River, Ont.) On August 17, 2008 police received a call to attend a residence regarding a complaint.

FATAL MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION (Wawa, On) The Superior East Wawa OPP are currently investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision which occurred on Highway 17 approximately 25 Kilometers South of Wawa.

Collision Investigation Completed - OPP Officer Charged (Sault Ste. Marie, ON) The investigation into a single vehicle collision on July 12, 2008 involving an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) patrol vehicle has concluded.

MALE CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ASSAULT (Fenwick Twp., ON) Sault Ste. Marie OPP are investigating an alleged sexual assault that took place at a residence in Fenwick Township on Sunday, 10th August 2008.

UPDATE: Motor Vehicle Collision On August 9, 2008 at approximately 11:36 am officers of the Sudbury Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a Motor Vehicle Collision on Highway 69 near the Pine Grove Golf Club.

Searchmont Break and Enter Sault Ste Marie OPP are investigating a break and enter into Ker-Lin General Store in Searchmont. The store was entered sometime over night on the 6-7th of August. Liquor and cigarettes were stolen.

Injured Bear Located (Blind River, Ont.) On Saturday 02 August 2008 the East Algoma O.P.P. were called to the Blind River Landfill site where employees reported seeing what they thought was an injured bear.
