Sometime overnight unknown culprits broke into a business in the 200 block of St Georges Ave East by prying open a side door. Once inside a quantity of copper pipe was stolen. Sometime overnight a vacant residence was broken into on Grace St.

On September 5, 2016, City Police stopped a vehicle in the area of Elliot Road. A check of the occupants was done and it was found that Samantha Catherine Barrett, age 28, had outstanding warrants for her arrest.
