On September 29, 2014 at 12:30 a.m., patrol officers were called to a residence on Brown Street for a domestic disturbance. Officers learned that a 19-year-old male had assaulted his girlfriend on the two prior days.

City Police responded to a theft complaint early this afternoon after a male had fled the Canadian Tire store with security personnel in fresh pursuit. The foot pursuit continued through to an address on Gladstone Ave.

City Police attended to a Willow Ave. apartment complex today regarding a domestic related argument. Investigation revealed that a male damaged property belonging to a female victim whom the accused male had been in a relationship with in the past.

Several thefts from vehicles were reported from overnight. Thieves stole change, sunglasses and a skill saw from 2 unlocked vehicles at the same residence on Tancred St.

On September 24, city police attended at 1587 Trunk Road after receiving information that a male was there and was wanted for failing to attend court in relation to a possession of stolen property charge.

On the 24th of September 2014 at approximately 8:37 a.m. Patrol Services investigated a report of a break and enter into a garage in the 500 block of Morin Street. The incident occurred between the 23rd of September 8 p.m.

Shortly before 4 a.m. this morning City Police received a 911 call from a residence on Cathcart Street. The caller reported that a male not known to them had entered the home after another resident of the address gave the male a key.

Shortly after 2 a.m. this morning, city police attended at a residence on Portage Lane for a break and enter. It is unknown at this time if anything was taken. On the 20th of September a homeowner on Kohler Street was working inside their residence.

On the 21st of September at approximately 7:39 am Patrol Services took an animal complaint of a bear in the area of St. Patrick Street. The public is reminded to be mindful of leaving garbage and other food products outside of their residence.

On the 19 September 2014 police arrested a second male involved in a break in to a storage unit on Bruce St. that occurred on the 13 September 2014. A substantial amount of property was stolen from one of the units.
