SMASHED WINDOW A 25-year-old male was arrested yesterday and charged with one count of mischief. It is alleged that on the 18th of August he smashed the driver’s side window and the front windshield out of his ex-girlfriend’ s car.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CALL 2 persons will appear in bail court this morning after police responded to a domestic violence call yesterday in the downtown area.

City police had another routine Saturday night. There were two domestic assault calls to the central part of town. No details are available but there were minor injuries involved. Police have two in the cells this morning for liquor infractions.

Police had a very routine night last night according to City Police Sergeant John Frost. Two were arrested for liquor infractions while one young offender was picked up for breach of probation.

IMPAIRED CHARGE 41-year old John High of Cornwall, Ontario will appear in bail court this morning after City Police received a report of a possible impaired driver in the City’s east end.

YOUTHS CHARGED Last evening a 16-year-old youth and his parent were at the police station in regards to the youth being wanted for stealing a vehicle on the 9th of August.

City Police had a very quiet twenty-four hour period. Sergeant Levis Vallee reports one drunk sleeping it off in a cell this morning and one young person going to WASH court today for a breach of probation.
