MAN ASSAULTED BY COUPLE 29-year-old Timothy Mitchell of 49 Borron Avenue and 21-year-old Holly Boissoneau of Sagamok, Ontario will be in bail court this morning after they allegedly assaulted a male on Friday evening around 9 pm.

BUSY NIGHT FOR POLICE City police had a busy night last night. There are four people sleeping it off in the cells this morning. Police Sergeant, Joe Trudeau, says two adults were arrested last night for domestic violence.

EAST-WEST FOOTBALL GAME It’s not exactly a full house in the police station cells this morning but they’re not empty either. Sergeant Joe Trudeau said it was a fairly busy night. The east – west football game at John Rhodes was well attended.

SHOPLIFTING AT ZELLERS Yesterday afternoon 18-year-old Andrew Richards of 79 Pilgrim Street was apprehended by security officers at the Zeller’s Store in the Station Mall.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE A 37-year-old male will be appear in bail court this morning after officers received a complaint of a domestic dispute yesterday.

FROM YESTERDAY’S POLICE BEAT A 19-year old male was remanded to bail court after OPP officers assisting City Police arrested him. Late Saturday evening he forced his ex-girlfriend into his vehicle.

POLICE CATCH 3RD SUSPECT Late Friday evening City Police arrested and charged a 15-year-old youth with one count of break and enter and one count of breach of probation. The youth was remanded to bail court.

City police report a routine Sunday night with little activity. There is no one in custody this morning and nothing of interst to report.

FORCIBLE CONFINEMENT CHARGE City police had a fairly quiet night last night. Only one drunk was picked up and he was only 17. There was one unusual domestic dispute that occurred at a restaurant on Great Northern Road.

City police have had a very busy twenty-four hour period but all occurrences have been of a routine, minor nature says Sergeant Joe Trudeau. Among the routine calls were four arrests for intoxication.
