The Sir James Dunn Eagles senior boys basketball team captured the Husky Invitational Basketball Tournament at Central Algoma Secondary School in Desbarats over the weekend with a 48-37 win over Blind River's W.C. Eaket.

The Soo North Stars were crowned champions of the Waterloo Gold Puck Tournament on Sunday afternoon. The North Stars, who finished the tournament with a 5-1 record, edged the Toronto Jr. Canadiens 3-2 in the title game.
