Stolen Vehicle (Elliot Lake, Ont.) On August 15, 2005 at approximately 10:03 p.m. police responded to a call regarding a stolen vehicle from 10 Veteran’s Way in Elliot Lake.

Residential Break-In (Blind River, Ont.) An activated house alarm led Police in East Algoma to arrest one person for Breaking and Entering. At around 2:30 p.m. police were dispatched to a house alarm on Leacock St in Blind River.

Counterfeit Bill Surfaces In Elliot Lake (Elliot Lake, Ont.) Police are investigating yet another possible counterfeit bill. On August 10, 2005 a five (5) dollar bill was turned over to police.

2 Vehicle Accident Shortly before 2:00 P.M. yesterday 10 Aug 2005 a two-vehicle accident in front of the Voyageur Restaurant in Batchewana sent three people to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Update On Missing Person (Elliot Lake, Ont.) Mr. M. Gysel (80) has been transported to St-Joseph Hospital in Elliot Lake and is expected to completely recover from non-life threatening injuries.
