STEALING FROM VEHICLES At 1:36 this morning city police were called to 621 MacDonald Avenue in regard to three males going through cars. While on route to the location one of the vehicles entered had it’s alarm set off causing the suspects to flee.

POLICE REMOVE UNWANTED GUEST Shortly before 8:00 last night, city police were called to the 800 block of Frontenac Street for a male to be removed.

ASSAULT IN THE CELLS 21-year-old Derek Spilman of 222 Albert Street East will appear in bail court this morning after he was involved in an altercation in the courthouse holding cells on Friday morning.

City police detectives wasted no time in cracking a fraud case and charging three people. It is alleged that Jamie Wilson, age 23 of 356 Maretta Street stole some I.D. and used it to open charge accounts at three local businesses.

ROUTINE FRIDAY NIGHT City police had a routine Friday night with only a couple of people sleeping it off in the cells this morning. One serious event this morning was the extensive damage done to more than ten vehicles on Country Club Drive.

ARRESTED AT NOISY PARTY A 17-year-old youth will appear in bail court this morning after being arrested by city police shortly before 2:00 this morning. Police had gone to a west-end residence for a noisy party complaint.

From Monday Sept 13th report City Police arrested 23-year old Michael Gerner of 35 Hughes Street shortly after 1 am on Saturday night after receiving a call of a suspicious male in a yard in the downtown area.

ACCUSED RETRIEVED FROM WINNIPEG A 27-year-old male will be appearing in bail court today after being arrested on outstanding warrants for a number of offences.

TWO ASSAULTS A 29-year-old male will appear in court on October 18th after being arrested yesterday morning by City Police. It is alleged that he assaulted his ex-girlfriend by hitting her on the head with a beer bottle on the 11th of September.
