The city police service has had a fairly quiet twenty-four hours. There have been five arrests for offenses of a minor nature.

City police had a fairly quiet night last night. During the past twenty-four hours there were nine arrests for minor infractions. There were no impaired driving charges.

OCCUPANTS CAPTURE INTRUDER At 2:25 this morning police were called to a Queen Street West apartment where the occupants were holding a male who had just broken into their residence.

THREE BREAK AND ENTERS There were three break and enters reported last night. One was to a business in the 900 block of Great Northern Road in which a small quantity of cash was taken.

The Sault Police Service was called yesterday afternoon to investigate an accident on Trunk Road. At 3:50 p.m.

STABBING SENDS MAN TO HOSPITAL City police are investigating a stabbing that occurred last Friday at 11:00 p.m. The victim was assaulted by several males between the rail yard and Arthur's Funeral Home.

Sault police are investigating several accidents from the weekend. BOTH DRIVERS FROM OUT-OF-TOWN On Friday morning at 11:34 a.m., police were called to the intersection of Brock and Albert where two vehicles had collided.

City police had a fairly quiet time for the past twenty-four hours. There were three arrests last night for being drunk in a public place.

City police had a steady night last night. There were seven arrests for offences of a minor nature although details are not available at this time.
