The City Police Service had a quiet twenty-four hour period. There were 4 arrests, all for offences of a minor nature.

ASSAULT WITH A WEAPON At about 11:10 last night, city police were called to an assault at the Mike's Mart on Second Line West and Goulais Avenue. Curtis Collings, age 21 of 435 Second Line West was charged with assault with a weapon.

TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT The Sault Police Services was called to investigate an accident yesterday at 3:13 p.m. at the intersection of North and Bloor Streets.

City police expressed some amazement that they were not called out to any noisy parties after the Toronto game last night. There was only one arrest and that was for intoxication. Police had a very quiet night.

City police made nine arrests yesterday. Three were young offenders. All the arrests were for relatively minor offences like being drunk in a public place and shoplifting.

CAR-BICYCLE COLLISION Sault Ste. Marie police are investigating collision between a motor vehicle and a bicycle that occurred on Dacey Road yesterday at 8:25 a.m.
