A businees in the 300 block of Queen Street was reported broken into overnight but investigation revealed that nothing was stolen.

On the afternoon of December 13, 2015 patrol officers responded to Canada Customs in regards to a male in custody. The investigation resulted in the arrest of 46-year-old Albert Day of Garden River.

On December 12 City Police conducted a vehicle stop on Great Northern Rd. near Northern Ave. Further observations led the officer to demand the driver of the vehicle provide a breath sample into a roadside screening device.

Damage was reported to a shed in the 100 block of Letcher St. Nothing was reported stolen. A rock was thrown through a window of a business on Trunk Rd. overnight. Nothing was reported stolen. On December 11, 2015 at 12:05 a.m.

On December 10, 2015 at 2:20 a.m. police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Landslide Road near Hiawatha. Initial information indicated that a vehicle had struck a utility pole and wires were down.

On December 9, 2015 at 2:30 a.m. officers arrested 23-year-old Taylor Corboy of Third Line West. It is alleged that at 2 a.m. the accused was leaving an east end bar and struck another vehicle in the lot.

At 10:20 A.M. on December 8, 2015 a City Police Detective attended the Algoma Remand Centre and arrested a 21 year old inmate for trafficking in marijuana.

Monday, December 7, 2015

At 2:50 P.M. on December 7, 2015 city police arrested 31-year-old Rosemary Pheasant of Huron Street. The accused was wanted on three outstanding warrants. It’s alleged that on October 19, 2015 the accused failed to attend court.

On the 6 December 2015 police answered several early evening break and enter calls. Residences were entered in the area of Silverbirch Drive, Asquith Avenue, Sharon Cresent and Niagara Drive.

On December 4, 2015 at 3pm police received a complaint of a break and enter that had just occurred in the 1500 block of Trunk Rd. Information was received that cheques had been stolen from the break in.
