City Police Beat

City Police officers arrested two males early Saturday morning on unrelated domestic related matters.The first incident involved a 22-year-old male allegedly being unlawfully in a dwelling of a female known to him.

On November 21, 2014 at 7:00 am Police Officers arrested and charged Kevin Caswell, age 19 of no fixed address, with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and Possession of Break in Instruments. He was found in possession of a car CD/DVD player.

On November 20, 2014 at 9:50 am Police arrested and charged a 17 year old male with Possession of a Controlled Drug. Officers found him possessing a small amount of marijuana. He was also charged with Breach of Probation.

On the 19th of November 2014 at approximately 1105 am Patrol Services attended the Algoma Treatment and Remand Centre and arrested 23yrs old Nicolas Vincenzo FRONZI of no fixed address with regards to an outstanding arrest warrant for Break and Enter

On November 18, 2014 at approximately 10:45 a.m., detectives from Investigation Services arrested James Robert ELLIS, 33 years old of Bay Street, Sault Ste.

On 14 Nov14 at approximately 7:40 p.m. police attended Bruce Street at Melrose Avenue in regards to several complaints of two males running into traffic.

On the 13th of November, 2014 at approximately 3:35 p.m., Patrol Services attended No Frills Store located at 514 Korah Road with regards to an adult male shoplifter. Charged is Robert James SMITHAM, 52 years old of Albert Street West, Sault Ste.

On the 12th of November, 2014 at approximately 6:55 p.m. Patrol Services attended a downtown residence and located a female wanted on an outstanding probation and parole warrant.

Police are reminding the public to continue to use extra caution driving today due to the changing weather and road conditions. The weather forecast is calling for further freezing rain and snow.
